Overview of the Organization

Formed in 1999, the Ashland Alliance is the Chamber of Commerce and regional economic development partnership for the City of Ashland and Boyd and Greenup Counties. The mission of the Alliance is to promote economic growth for the betterment of the region and serve as a business advocate for our members. The Alliance helps build our community and improve our quality of life by fostering an economic climate which allows companies to grow and prosper.

Services provided by the Alliance

Business referrals at Alliance members only, Business After Hours, personal member visits, ribbon cuttings/ grand openings, newcomer packets to members, business workshops and seminars, Legislators Appreciation Luncheon,  and Government Speaker Series.
 
The Alliance works with local and state government, and others, in attracting new companies to the area. The Alliance also makes personal existing business and industry visits.  The Alliance can provide assistance and information about incentives and training available to help grow companies keeping them healthy and profitable.
