Greenup County Schools is a K12 non-independent school system with slightly over 3,000 students enrolled.  We are in the business of providing the best education for our students so that they are capable of reaching their fullest potential as a contributing member of society.  We are actively involved in the use of technology as a learning tool to increase academic achievement.

Our school District provides academic, athletic and social education to our students.  We have a diverse offering of classes so our students can tailor their education to their individual interests and specialization.  We offer athletic programs from the three major sports of baseball, football and basketball, as well as tennis, golf, softball, track, soccer and others.   We also offer many academic programs designed to challenge students as well as to teach team work and working collaboratively.
